WebApr 6, 2024 · Resident Evil 3 crashes on startup when set to Borderless Window. was created by Solidblade14 I'm using the latest commit of ReShade that includes the fix for RE3. I don't have anything else installed other than ReShade. Before the fix, the game would crash on startup half of the time, regardless if it was set to Borderless Window or Fullscreen. WebAug 7, 2024 · Back when RE3 was released, it kept crashing on startup when ReShade was installed. A fix was implemented in ReShade which solved the problem. Unfortunately, RE3 received a new update yesterday and it started crashing on startup again. It doesn't crash every time, but I'd say it crashes 8 times out of 10.
