WebThe buffer tube is threaded on with blue loctite, there isn't a castle nut. I removed it on my CA7 with a heat gun, and a strap wrench with the lower in a vise. You'll need a new buffer tube, castle nut, end plate, and I would change out the spring and buffer since they are standard milspec H1. No other surprises I can think of.
